I have no idea what the news is reporting down there, but for some reason, it’s depicting snow of epic quantities and the scenes of the northeast are similar to that from the movie The Day After Tommorrow. I received frantic calls asking if we were hunkered down in anticipation of the blizzard…if we had stocked up on bread, milk and eggs and if we still had electricity. I giggled and just assured them that we were fine…excited that we didn’t have to go anywhere or do anything and could get away with lounging in our pajamas if we so chose. The only thing that we probably weren’t going to survive was the 4 teenage girls that decided that our house was cool enough to spend the night at. Good thing we were stocked up on wine and liquor!
Anyway, Florida…this is what it looked like yesterday afternoon

Wow!!! In some weird way that cold white snow looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing Isabel….But I will admit I enjoy looking at the pictures while in the comfort of my Florida apt

I love the snow, believe me I do, when everything is white and clean however when it gets dirty and turns to ice, not so much also the shoveling really bites especially right after you finish cleanning your driveway and the city plow goes by and put everything your worked for about an hour to clear back in your driveway again, that I can do without. Beautiful pictures.
