“There is a piece of everyone at this wedding…we all made it possible.” That’s what my niece, Jasmine, told me at some point during the reception. We looked around at the work that 9 months of planning had turned into fruition and just smiled. The widest, happiest smile humanly possible. Everything was perfect.
My niece’s wedding. AMAZING. Beautiful. Everyone that has sat down with me for 5 minutes has heard about this wedding for months and months and finally, last Friday, the day arrived. Five years to the day from when they first started dating. I’ve thought about what I’m going to write as my blog entry and my mind draws a blank…there’s just sooo much to say.
I can talk about the glow that my niece had and how handsome Jose looked…
or the traditions that took place and those that we remembered so dearly…
or the heirlooms that were handed down…
or the emotion that Jose felt as he said his “I do’s”…
or the pride that the parents felt…
or how amazing they look together…
But for me, it’s overwhelming… as overwhelming as it is to get your own mini version of the bride and groom’s wedding cake as a thank you gift.
as overwhelming as it is to photograph a person you literally grew up with and see that person just sooo beautiful…
Amazing. Beautiful. Emotional. Those are the words that I would use to describe this wedding. This perfect wedding that united my niece and her amazing husband.
So…because a picture is definitely worth a thousand words, you simply have to check out their picture packed SLIDESHOW because there are no words that can describe the love I feel for these two and the emotion, time, passion and details that went into making this day possible.

Well, what can I say…I guess my daughters have not seen this yet, I’m so very glad I’m the first one to put a comment this time. Isabel, I can’t find the words to describe how I feel right now, you very well know that I’m not the one that shows emotions to easy and at this very moment I can’t stop my tears from running down my face and my nose from turning red (I’m glad no one can see me now). You have given my beautiful daugther and my wonderful son in law a tremendous gift, I can’t thank you enough for the endless hours you put in, for the gray hairs you have now, for all the dedication and care you have shown, because of all the great job you have done, but most of all for the love you have given. Isabel, my kids will be able to look back, many years from now and show their children and grandchildren the most wonderful and important day of their live and you my dear sister made that possible for the two of them. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR THE WONDERFUL GIFT YOU HAVE GIVEN THEM, MOM WOULD HAD BE PROUD, I AM. LOVE YOU. ME.
WOW…what can I say?!?!? You did an AMAZING job and I can’t thank you enough for EVERYTHING you have done for Jose and I. The pictures came out beautiful! Even though we had our ups and downs through out this planning process; I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! Money would have NEVER been able to buy the best gift of all. I know that you put everything you had in you into this wedding and I will ALWAYS be greaful. I truely am blessed to have an Aunt like you. I love you and thank you again for everything!!

What can I say?! You blow my mind away each and every time! Most people dont know what went on every day with the countless emails, runners or no runners, color or black and white place cards, i mean every detail that went in to this is insane. I know that every wedding is special in its own right but i would challanege any wedding that has as much personal touch and thought that you put in to this. You thought of every detail, or every want, and what she couldnt get you made sure to make it happen. I am more than honored to be your family. You gave Fefe and Jose the best gift of all… memories that they can look back and relive! NO other photographer could have captured their day any more perfectly than you could have. I am so glad that you made Fef and Jose happy… you will forever be the BIGGEST part of their wedding day!
I love you with all my heart and remember that I am your BIGGEST fan, you can do ANYTHING and i will be there every step of the way cheering you on!

First of all - WOW! Your own cake!?! AWESOME!! Second and most importantly- great job Is, fantastic as always! I love the one of her on the couch with her dress pulled out and the b&w one where she is against the wall in the hall… and the one of her flowers on the floor with them in the background… aww fantabulous! : )
My wonderful wife, you are a great photographer. Through all the planning and painstaking communication, you pulled it off…once again. Not only were you the photographer and guest at your niece’s wedding, you also helped plan a great deal of it too. The pictures look great as they always have and here you also took the cake (literally)! A big thanks to all that helped in the planning and I am glad you (Elizabeth and Jose) loved your very special day. You guys looked great. BTW… Jose owes me a drink…

I love the website with all of the comments, ideas, and true emotions of the wedding. The reason I am writing is because I am doing a wedding style similar to the wedding posted. I was wondering if you would be interested in selling the damask table runners. I am having a black and white wedding and I think those prints are beautiful. Just thought I’d ask.
