Angelina and Kevin | Intimate Weddings

The other morning I smiled from ear to ear to see that Angie and Kevin’s wedding had been featured on Intimate Weddings‘ blog.  Aside from being a tremendous honor, Angie had gotten a ton of ideas for her wedding from Christina’s site.  I love that now the favor has come full circle!

So…YAY me, YAY Angie and Kevin and YAY Christina!

Make sure you go read the article and check out the site :)

Jess and Mort: Engaged! | Sneak Peak | Philadelphia

Jess and Mort…sigh…we had a fantabulous time in Philly tonight!

They totally brought the hottness factor…

Emily and AJ: Married! | St. Agnes Catholic Church, Perkasie & LuLu Shriner’s, Conshohocken

Emily and AJ bestill my beating heart.  From our first two hour conversation they captured me with their smiles, their deep belly laughter, their witty banter and their heart.  Never a more fantastic couple with their sense of humor, their love for each other, and their unabashed love for me and the passion that I have in my work.  They are beyond a couple whose wedding I photographed; They have become friends of mine and I had the pleasure of documenting their day as they start on their happy journey as husband and wife.

Emily is a ball of fire. Full of life, full of soul, full of an immense love for AJ.  AJ is just wholesome fun and laughter and passion all rolled into a bearded fun-loving guy.  Together, they are chill and ridiculously fun and crazy in love.

Em and AJ, I hope you know that I think the world of you…that documenting your day made me smile continuously throughout the day…that I got weepy when I saw you walk down the aisle, Em…that I got giddy when I saw you open your gift from Em, AJ…that I hooted and hollered for you when you made your grand entrance…that I was beyond delighted to be considered family and share in the day with all 382 people present.  I’ve thought about the images that I want to show.  There were just so many that I fell in love with, however…so, I’ve chosen my select few that I absolutely have no words for…that speak for themselves and implore all of you to watch their SLIDESHOW continuously because there is just sooo much in there that you’re going to have to watch it several times. But trust me when I say that you will smile, you will go home and hug someone, you will get to know a snippet of Emily and AJ and understand why the world is a better place with them in it and why they are just beyond fabulous. :)  Much love…

AJ…rockin’ his stylish turquoise cuff links (Em’s favorite color)

I made him get dress 3 hours before he had to just so that I could be the one to document him getting ready…and because I knew there was a cool ass present on the way :)

Down the street, beauty was taking shape :)

Sigh…

Ridiculously GORGEOUS :)

Focused…

…on him :)

The crowd went wild!

Mr. and Mrs.

And their uber fantastic bridal party

For those that have asked…YES! She jumped :)

Lookin’ sexy

I think this is my favorite picture…I laughed out loud everytime I see it :)

Grandma’s ring makes me smile too :)

Gettin’ the party started

This, Internet, is what 300+ guests looks like at a reception

Parent dances make me cry…

But then, scandalous fun makes me laugh :)

SLIDESHOW…Go. Now. Enjoy!

I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank my good friend, April, for her invaluable help.  Simply fantastic!

Patrice and Andrew: Engaged! | Citizen’s Bank Park, Philadelphia

The story on how we shot Patrice and Andrew’s engagement shoot is funny.  It started like most any other shoot…we were stuck on a spot.  I asked where they met and BOOM! the idea was born.  They met at a Phillies game…so I called the Phillies and asked.  Just.That.Simple. AND…OMG! They did not disappoint…and that’s coming from someone whose knowledge of baseball is that it includes a bat and a ball…oh, and that my senior year history teacher looked ravishing in his baseball uniform…sigh…  Anyway, it was an awesome experience and top that with spending the afternoon with Patrice and Andrew and I was happier than if I were indulging in vanilla cake with raspberry filling and decadent buttercream frosting!

The first time I met Patrice I dubbed her the most chillaxed bride ever.  Her goal is to walk down the aisle and join her life with Andrew’s.  Everything else is just icing on the proverbial wedding cake.  I heart Patrice…from her infectious laughter, to her chill attitude on life, to her love for Andrew.  She’s just THAT awesome.  And Andrew? Puhleeze!  He’s insanely adorable and funny and fun and witty and he totally captured my heart when I discovered his love for Ghostbusters.

Together, we ran around Citizen’s Bank Park like a bunch of kids at Toys R’ Us…eating cake at the same time. :)  We oohhh and ahhhed over every single little thing and when we were granted access to the Phillies Locker Room, we all stopped at the doorway and starred in amazement.  The entire experience was absolutely fantastic and it made me even more excited for their wedding next year.

So…let’s start with pictures!

I don’t think we could have picked a better day to visit the park :)

Fabulous ring on the wall of balls…

My absolute favorite shot of the day :)

Yup…we were in the dugout!

Coolness with Philadelphia behind us

Patrice…you look fierce!

Yup…the locker room!

Leslie and Mark: Engaged! | Washington Crossing State Park

When she showed up at our meeting with her ever-so-organized, three ring binder, complete with dividers, I knew that Leslie meant business when it came to her wedding.  The most important day of her life…joining her life with the most important person in her life…was being planned and there is nothing standing in her way of perfection.  Where Leslie is detailed and meticulous, Mark is the calm to her storm.  There is something in the way he looks at her, holds her hand, cups her face that calms her, secures her, lets her know that she is insanely loved.

It is my honor to be able to document that love, that security, that trust, in two people as wonderful as Leslie and Mark….theirs will be an everlasting love.  Their wedding is in a few short days and I can’t wait to be sharing it with them.

We shared an afternoon at Washington Crossing State Park to shoot their engagment session.

Leslie’s gorgeous bling!

And yes, I’m crazy enough to put a couple on a bridge where traffic zips on at a steady clip :)

Leslie and Mark…your day is almost here!  I can’t wait :)

Oh…and to see more from our session, here’s their SLIDESHOW. Enjoy!

Never too old to play dress up

I was 14 when my mom bought me a dress from a vintage store for our themed 8th grade prom.  Tonight when she asked me what my prom dress looked like and I showed her the arsenal of dresses I had, she picked this one out and I beamed from ear to ear.

As she slipped into it, she said, “mom, were you really this skinny?!”  Sigh…I was.

Nevertheless, she looked ridiculously beautiful in her momma’s vintage frock :)

Aunt Pinky will remember the night that she and I posed for pictures and I was wearing this dress…hysterical!

Stephanie and John: Engaged! | Sneak Peek | Lambertville, NJ

…because I couldn’t decide on a favorite to show for the sneak peek, Mike, Elia and Nico did…

Cheri and Merv: Married! | Philadelphia

When Cheri told me that her wedding was low key and that she didn’t even feel the need to have wedding pictures to document her wedding day, I nearly choked on my water.  We were standing in office kitchen, chit-chattin’ near the water cooler when she told me that she and Merv were getting married…finally.  I simply was not going to have my friend get married without pictures…and I’m sooo glad that she agreed.

So on that fateful Thursday morning, I documented Cheri and Merv wedding day for them and had the most amazing time meeting their family and sharing in their love.  We started out at Divinity Salon in Cheltenham.

Then headed over to Merv and Cheri’s to grab some details and getting ready shots…

Even Derek was lookin’ fierce…

They married at the Philadelphia Wedding Chapel. It’s quaintness and vibe in the middle of a bustling city was perfect for Cheri and Merv…

Derek, as ring bearer and best man, was very proud to witness his parents getting married… :)

The new Mr. and Mrs. :)

Cheri worked it the entire day for me :)

For fun formals we headed over to the Curtis Arboretum. The fact that they allowed me as much time as I needed to take pictures was a bonus.  Brides, remember…the more time I have, the more time we have to create amazing pictures :) I honestly, could not pick a favorite from this wedding.  I love them all. :)

And then Merv’s baby joined them…

Cheri and Merv…I’m honored and humbled that you invited me to share in your day and document it for you. It was my absolute pleasure :) Much love…

Oh…and since I’ve bombarded this blog entry with pictures, there’s a ton more on their SLIDESHOW. Enjoy!

Ellen and Steve: Engaged! | Sneak Peek!

Spending a Wednesday morning with these two was nothing short of fantastic!  I can’t wait til their wedding :)

Elia and Nicholas : Makin’ Momma Smile

I was only allowed 2 pictures each when I pounced them after school nearly nagging them for a picture. They were missed and as the minutes clicked closer to the sound of their school bus driving by, I’d peek from the side of my computer screen to look out the window.  Below is what came out of their mouth when we asked them how their first day of school was.

Her Point of View: High school was fun.  The hallways were packed with kids. Lunch was cool — it’s like college! The cafeteria is beast! We actually got homework today :(  I think I’m exotic because I’m the only one with this crazy Floridian tan.

His Point of View: I didn’t get lost. My teacher is a hot, hot girl. I missed Dog Dog.  Lunch was good, but you need to give me more jelly on my samich (yes, internet…samich).  I’m tired because I did alot of stuff today and my brain needs to rest.

They make my heart melt :)
