Jen & Rick:Engaged!

Jen and Rick are so stinkin’ cute together!  As if they’ve been married for 50 years! Theirs, internet, is a marriage that’s going to last a lifetime.  They click so well…he finishes her sentences, she rolls her eyes at his commentary.  The day was stressful for Jen…her computer totally crashed on her. Rick, as the loving husband-to-be, assured her that it was all going to be alright; That if the FBI were able to find even the most miniscule of evidence on a totally burnt hard drive during an investigation, that surely, they would be able to recover her million and two pictures that she hadn’t backed up.  Knowingly, however, he interjected…”you should get a MAC!” Being a PC girl, I just giggled at kept my mouth shut.

By the end of their session, Jen had briefly forgotten her computer woes and had throughly enjoyed herself…chit chatting about her wedding and the never-ending to-do list that goes hand in hand with planning the perfect wedding.  Again, Rick assured her that it was all going to turn out perfect.

They have a fabulous wedding planned in September.  A perfect fall wedding that’s going to be held at a perfect fall location, the Curtis Arboretum.  Jen, I’m positive it’s all going to turn out as you’ve imagined.  Rick, you’re the best! You’re going to be amazing husband…one that is able to keep his wife calm, cool, collected and extremely happy.

I can’t wait to share in your special day!

And one for Aunt Pinky

If ever a toy were more loved…

Da Dog, Dog Dog, Shadow…it doesn’t matter what he’s called as long as he’s nearby.  Who would have thought that after 5 years, Dog Dog would still be his B.F.F.?!

Sandie & Rick : Engaged!

These crazy kids…after 16 years of being together…are finally going to tie the knot and I am over-the-moon happy for them!

For some reason I went into this shoot thinking that it was going to be difficult…I have no idea why…but 5 seconds into our session and I had already determined that it was by far, the easiest session ever!  Sandie and Rick…after all these years, have such an intense connection and profound love for one another that it just oozes out of them.  I loved the way they interacted with each other and the way that their affection for one another was evident.

I giggle everytime a couple mentions to me that they are not photogenic…knowing full well, that by the end of the session, they are going to love the way they were captured.  Sandy, you look amazing and Rick…so very handsome.  I hope that after 16 years of being together with my husband he stares at me with as much love and adoration as the way you look at Sandie!

I can’t wait to share your wedding day with you!

We shot their engagement session at Byer’s Choice…a gorgeous little secret in Chalfont.

One of my absolute favorites…

That game where you have to find the differences between pictures

You know the one, right? It was always one of the first things I flipped to when I received my monthly Highlights magazine.  Well, I’ve been living a real life version of the magazine activity.  Can you figure it out? Even though we had discussed it before, it still shocked the heck out of me when I got home today. It’s been a few hours now and I must say that it kinda grows on you…no pun intended.

This one was a little less shocking that the first…we knew that it was just a matter of days before the wiggly tooth came out.  $6 is apparently the going rate for the tooth fairy these days.  Inflation. BUT…she has good use for the tooth.  Did you know that she grinds it into fairy dust and uses it in magic?

Despite the change, I still think that both of them are insanely cute!

Sally & Mike:Engaged!

Sally and Mike are from near my hometown…Ft. Lauderdale.  So there was an instant connection.  Planning their wedding from Florida and coordinating everything for a Lancaster wedding no doubt proves to have its challenges, but let me tell you, Sally’s got it under control.  Totally.  They have the most amazing wedding planned in September to take place at the Leola Village Inn in Lancaster and the venue is nothing short of spectacular.  I can’t wait!

Mike looks at Sally with such love and contentment that it radiates to all around and Sally’s love for Mike is simply undeniable.  Their engagement session was quick and fun, partially due to the impending storm that was looming over our heads the entire time; and by the time I got home from Lancaster, I had pinned alot of images as my favorite.  They have definately been my sexy couple and I love the images that I was able to capture.  Sally and Mike, you guys were on fire! Enjoy your images!

Brianne & David:Anticipation

She beamed the entire day…with visions of her soon-to-be husband on her mind.  As she fluttered about with her giddy bridesmaids, the anticipation grew stronger.  It was such a happy afternoon as they all got ready for their walk down the aisle.

Brianne looked absolutely radiant. Her dream wedding was absolutely awesome…from beginning to end.

Though there’s a ton of editing left to do, I figured I’d at least post the anticipation of her wedding. More to come soon!

What do a unicorn, an elephant and a rhino all have in common?

They can be imagined with a simple stick and can entertain a little boy much longer than any other toy in the world….at least for 20 solid minutes.

These are a few of my favorite things

I love it when they entertain me…

Mike groans when I make him turn the car around to go back to a place that I’ve just “ooohhh!” The kids moan when I make them get out of the car in the heat.  But 5 minutes into playing around in empty fields or old factories and they are loving the fact that I’ve taken the time to scout out locations and capture the moment.

I’d been eyeing this place for a while now and finally, I made them pull over and get out of the car.  Love it! I just wish the cops hadn’t been trolling around so that I could have spent a little more time there…

Giggles

His are totally contagious…

Chris:Class of 2009

We ran around a yard that definitely rivaled the 1000 Acre Woods well into the evening when saw the first of fireflies flickering nearby. Chris is an amazing young man…totally after my own heart with his love of all things Godfather and Batman. We spent the early evening chatting about all kinds of movies and his plans for tech school after high school.

His parents are equally sweet and engaging. Ollie, the cat, what can I say about him. He’s beautiful and if I wasn’t allergic to cats I totally would have tried to snag him home with me. I particularly loved how he hammed it up for the camera as if to say, “look at me!”

Despite the craziness that it wedding season, I totally love to chillax with amazing families…watching their interaction with each other, capturing the emotions that run between them. These guys were awesome and it was my absolute pleasure to work with them.
Chris, all the best your senior year and the years following in tech school. I know that you’ll succeed and look forward to hearing great things about you! Paul and Jackie…thank you for sharing your evening with me!
Enjoy my favorites from your session.
