Dad says…

He’s going to have to beat the boys off of her when she gets older.

I tend to agree. All she has to do is sit there and she looks pretty.

Serpent Park

Taking a short cut the other day from the main road I found this awesome industrial park with a ginormous sea serpent in front of it’s building. The area behind the white wall has all sort of photographical goodies. I’ll definately be back for some shots!

Titi

Nicholas ran up to me and said, “take a picture of Titi!” So I did. Titi has been his preferred stuffed animal to rest with at school.

Scenes from an impromptu birthday party

So there we were…a week before her birthday and little did she know that after dinner the lights would go out, she would be blindfolded and there would be a surprise. She loves surprises so this was perfect. Totally unexpected. Until, Nico decides to say, “hey, is that a cake?!”

I was bored in the car

I get restless in the car when I’m not driving. I push buttons, play with the window and occassionally open the window in the freezing cold to shoot pictures.

The weird places you fall asleep in

You were angry because you didn’t get to watch television. Really, though, you were just tired and grumpy. I was sitting on the couch and knew that you were under me. I figured you were pouting, however, when I got up, called your name and you didn’t answer I knew that you wer fast asleep. So, I left you there. And you sleep like that for 2 hours.

six things about a fish on her birthday

  1. Giddy. That’s what you are about your birthday today. When you saw the date printed on our fridge calendar at the beginning of the month you immediately knew what day it was and gave me your impish grin from ear to ear.

  2. You’re sassy, super smart, witty and not to mention totally beautiful.

  3. You are daddy’s little punkin’, my little fishy and Nico’s Syd.

  4. The brain behind the braun in this family. You try so hard to get away with so much.

  5. Still so petite that when you stand next to your younger brother, you’re both the same height and everyone always asks, “how old are your twins?!”

  6. You are so very loved! And don’t you ever forget it.
Happy birthday little fishy!

Happy You You!

You…at the ripe old age of 6.

Going out for more fun

It’s been love and hate with the sled.

Snow bunnies

We finally got some snow this season and definately took advantage of it.
